Dreams Come True! Bhoomi Poojan as It Happened on 4th December 2022
After dreaming of this day for over 11 years, we finally performed the Bhoomi Poojan of a new Bhavya Mandir of Shri Gauri Shankar Mandir on Sunday 4th December 2022. In accordance with Sanatana Dharma principles, the old members of our Mandir started the Pooja rituals at the auspicious muhurat of 10am. The ceremony lasted till 2pm and followed all the rituals for a blessed journey including matri shakti Dwara Poojan(invoking the powers of the goddess), Kanya Poojan (another way of worshipping the sacred feminine), Gau Mata Poojan (worshipping of cow considered sacred in Hinduism), and Samuhik Poojan. Our Bhandara started from 11 in the morning and was open for all.
It was a bright sunny day to get our construction of the new premises underway in the presence of our community. We seek your blessings and continued participation to make this a success story of an unlikely kind; one that is filled with love and hope for the whole of mankind.
