An individual whose birth chart shows the presence of the 7 planets or 7 Navagrahas. Lying between the two shadow planets Rahu and Ketu are said to be suffering from the Kaal Sarp Dosha. The two shadow planets represent the snake’s body (Rahu) and tail (Ketu), hence, the name. Rahu and Ketu weaken the effects of the other Navagrahas, thereby, a person faces hurdles in life.
