Sunderkand is a part of Ramcharitmanas of Goswami Tulsidas which is popularly referred to as Tulsi Ramayana. At Shri Gauri Shankar Mandir, we have the religious and melodious Acharya Bharat Tiwari ji whose soulful narration has regularly enchanted devotees and visitors and relieved them of earthly worries. Generally, sunderkand recitation takes place on the first Tuesday of every month. So come and connect with Hindu roots and culture at Shri Gauri Shankar Mandir.
Significance of Sunerkand Path
It narrates the Bhakti of Lord Hanuman towards Ram and is the essence of Ramcharitmanas. It is read out at auspicious times such as the beginning of a new work or venture. Saints and astrologers also advise the reading of Sunderkand when people are struggling and in desperate need of hope and confidence. Also, It is believed that those who regularly read Sunderkand are blessed by Lord Hanuman himself. The steps of a Sunderkand Path are:
